Enemies in Zombs.io are hazards that the player must fight or avoid.

Zombies[ | ]

Zombies are basic enemies. Zombies won't spawn at night until you place the Gold Stash. It goes on forever after tier 6 [orange zombies] at type 10, at wave 141. Having more players in your Party increases the number of zombies that will spawn.

Bosses[ | ]

Bosses are on waves 9, 17, 25, 33, 41, 49, 57, 65, 73, 81, 89, 97, 105, and 121. A base needs to be strong to handle boss waves. Bosses are extremely weak against high damage singular attacks such as melee towers or just your spear. Bosses have a much higher HP than normal zombies, and one spawns per player in your party. Bosses are identical to monsters (see below), however they are much bigger and have higher HP.

Monsters[ | ]

GameObject DemonStone

Several Monsters surrounding Demon Stones.

Monsters are also popularly known as Demons because of their appearance, and because they spawn around red crystal rocks called Demon Stones, scattered around the map. If you are just starting out, do not attempt to kill them. They only give 1 gold, and they are impossible to kill with a pickaxe without using healing potions.

If the monsters are hit by a player or a tower, they will attack whatever hit them. They will only attack if provoked. Three monsters will spawn a red rock. When one dies, another one will simply respawn. If you move far enough from the red crystal rock, the monster simply stops attacking you and returns to their original position.

Killing monsters are a great way of leveling up your C.A.R.L, especially if you are in a high level base and have a low level pet.

Players and their bases[ | ]

Other players in your server can attack you and your base, and cause significant annoyance. In turn, you can also attack other players and their base.

The best way to kill a base is to attack the gold stash with a spear. It's preferred to use a spear that has been upgraded to gold to do significant damage. Low tier spears were once able to destroy strong gold stashes, but due to previous exploits and dedicated base "raiders", they have been made much weaker.

Loltrollers

An example of extreme multiboxing, also known as "No Life Disease".

Base "raiders" are players that dedicate themselves to killing high-wave bases. They are often frowned upon by many players due to them having the ability to kill a base within 5 minutes while strong bases take about 2 hours to upgrade and build.

Bases only attack you if you whack it or it’s owner or the owner’s pet a few times and will stop attacking you after roughly 3 minutes.

Players might attack your base, spam your chat, or kill you. If your base is strong however, players should have a hard time killing your stash.

However, base raiders with scripts can kill bases, no matter how strong a base is. Using many tabs, they can use multiboxing to control many players at once. Also known as "No Life Disease", these players obtain gold to upgrade spears. Once their spears are upgraded, they are clumped together into a ball, where they attack the gold stash all at once, overwhelming the base's defenses. Scripts like multiboxing are frowned upon, and many have called for a patch to fix multiboxing.
